Asteroids, also known as minor planets or planetoids, are significantly-sized debris that orbit the Sun. The Asteroid Belt can be found between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, making up the majority of the population of asteroids in the inner Solar System. Groups of asteroids also swarm around the fourth and fifth Lagrangian points ( and ) of Jupiter and are known as the Greeks and the Trojans respectively.
