Robert Zubrin (born on April 19th 1952) is one of the best known advocates for the human exploration and settlement of Mars. He is a scientist and engineer with a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering. He is the Founder and President of the Mars Society.

He is author of several books, among which "The Case for Mars: The Plan to Settle the Red Planet and Why We Must" is one of his most popular books.
