A colony will require places of assembly. For a small output this may be the cafeteria, for a larger colony this may include convention halls, forums, meeting rooms and movies and theaters.
Large volumes are difficult to produce on Mars as they are subject to construction complications. Internal pressure from the colony atmosphere adds a construction complication that does not exist on Earth.
