Summary

Description
English: The picture shows polygon shapes that were made when the rocks cracked and then the cracks were filled of dark, basalt sand. Dark basalt sand is very common on Mars. Cracks may form when volcanic rock cools and contracts. Picture was displayed with the RGB color scheme with the HiView program.
