Mission Support eLists

There are two eLists -- Mission Support and CapCom. In general, CapComs are added to both when they join the group. Mission Support alias also includes program support staff and each crew member on current and upcoming crews. Usually only 2-3 crews are on the Mission Support eList at any given time.

For all of the below procedures, ensure you are signed into Google with the correct account (many people have several). You can check this in the top right of any Google experience. When in doubt, Sign Out and sign in with the correct one.

Checking that somebody is on the list

The list of all members is viewable by everybody here: Mission Support members listing.

Adding somebody to the list

1. Go to the Manage: Direct Add page

2. Type or Paste in the email address for the new person.

3. Write a quick welcome message like "Adding you to the eList".

4. Click the blue "Add" button

5. You may have to do a Capcha such as picking out street sign images from a group of 9 random images. This is Google's attempt to prevent spam and abuse of the list.

Removing somebody from the list

1. Go to Manage: All Members. (This screen can also be used by admins to verify membership as above.)

2. Click on the checkbox to the left of the person you'd like to remove.

3. At the top of the list, select Actions > Remove from group.
