The '''MarsDrive Consortium''' is an international nonprofit organization that exists to announce and advocate private sector Martian colonization, terraforming, and research to these ends.

It started in [[2005]] on [[Red Colony]] with a suggestion by [[Frank Stratford]] <ref>http://www.redcolony.com/marsdrive/</ref> to form a dedicated committee to bringing attention to colonization and terraforming through various media in an inspiring way.
