:I think we can do it on Mars, but I don't think we can do it on Venus. Without mining there is no way to build a growing autonomous colony, I'm afraid. At least with currently known technology. The asteroid belt or the moons of Jupiter might even be a better goal. In my opinion, if we can make it on Mars (and that's by no means a sure thing) we are ripe for further goals, and Venus is last on my list. -- [[User:Rfc|Rfc]] 22:19, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

I think we can do it on Mars, but I don't think we can do it on Venus. Without mining there is no way to build a growing autonomous colony, I'm afraid. At least with currently known technology. The asteroid belt or the moons of Jupiter might even be a better goal.
