The Ariane family of rockets are expendable launch vehicles built by Arianegroup (mainly Airbus and Safran)for Arianespace.
Ariane 5 is the current active launcher. It has not been used for Mars missions, but mainly for geostationary satellite launches. It can launch up to 21 tonnes to LEO.
