The Beaver[1] rover is planned to land on Mars as part of the Canadian Northern Light project. Although it has a mass of only 6 kg, the loaded equipment comprises of a regular camera, a microscope camera, a spectrometer, a subsurface radar and several ground penetrating tools. The mission aims at geological explorations on the surface and beneath.
