Mars-105 was a psychological simulation of the long journey to Mars. The simulation took place in Moscow (Russia) in an analog station with an outfit of a space vessel.[1][2]

This simulation will be followed by Mars-500 late in 2009.

  • crew: 6 male persons
  • Financial effort: 15 Million Euro
  • Start: March 31st 2009
  • End: July 14th 2009

Results

The simulation was a success. No major problems occurred. Several measurements were performed during the simulation: Metabolism output, blood pressure, etc.
