New Name

Why are we renaming the featured article while it's still featured? ...and why a method that completely erased its development history? -- Strangelv 02:35, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Undone. I did it for unification purpose with the naming of Earth-supported colony. Are there any side effects, except the history? How else can we do it? -- Rfc 13:18, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. Move is usually (but not always) adequate -- the history was at first copied over (which was actually better), but under newer versions obliterates the history from the original page, making it less useful (used to be able to use it to split an article with edit history intact for both articles). One question is what is the prevailing rule for capitalization here? On Lunarpedia, capitalization is usually done as a proper title -- all important words are capitalized -- in contrast to the Wikipedia rule, which is optimized for the convenience of making hyperlinks. I expect to be spending more time with exporting and reimporting pages to preserve edit histories... -- Strangelv 09:48, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I'd prefer the Wikipedia rule, for I do not see the advantage in capitalization in the article's name. Capitalization can still be used for the bold part within the introduction, usually repeating the name of the article. Anyway, I'll do the move operation not before an other article is featured. Thanks for your hints:-) -- Rfc 06:25, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
