Photobioreactor

A Photobioreactor is a special type of bioreactor which provides light energy to the organisms grown inside. Algae and other photoautrophic microorganisms may be grown for many purposes including food, hydrocarbons, industrial chemicals, and medicine in aquaculture or bioreactors. Possible sources of light include LEDs and concentrated solar energy.
